Modifying a turtleneck

In my last post, I was mentioning how I do not like my electric blue turtleneck!  I love the color but came to realize that I cannot wear turtleneck!
So here's my turtleneck before:

Now I have measure 3cm from the sewing of the neckline all around and with sharp scissors I've cut it!

So here are the tools required: (and a lovely assistant!)

And here's the result!!!

And because this is made of cotton (like a t-shirt basically), there is not need for sewing!  The neck  line will remain as it is now... perhaps it will roll a little but it will still look good!!!
